In her first media appearance since the social media uproar, journalist Farah Shaaban revealed the details of her separation from blogger Ali Ghazlan, confirming that it was God’s will and that she accepts it with a contented heart despite the pain.
During a phone interview with journalist Nihal Tayel on the “Details” program on Sada El Balad 2 channel, Farah Shaaban explained that she and her ex-husband remain on friendly terms, saying, “Our separation was destined, and although I wished our marriage could have continued, we are now friends and there are no disagreements between us.”
She indicated that the decision to announce the divorce came some time after it was officially finalized, as she wanted to maintain her privacy before sharing the news with the public.
Regarding the details of the decision, Farah confirmed that the separation was by mutual agreement after they failed to overcome their differences this time, despite the intervention of many close friends and family members who tried to reconcile their viewpoints and prevent a third divorce. However, “God’s will prevailed.”
She added, “We couldn’t overcome the disagreement this time, and I’m currently trying to adjust and adapt to my new life during my travels.”
In response to the criticism leveled at her and her ex-husband regarding their alleged exploitation of their personal lives for trending status or increased views, Farah stated firmly, “I don’t need views to be famous. What we’re going through is a natural consequence of the public nature of celebrity life, but the truth is, we’re human beings experiencing real crises.”
Farah concluded her remarks emotionally, asking her fans and supporters to pray for her to overcome these difficult times. She emphasized that the support of her family and their presence is what gives her strength right now, expressing her strong belief that God will compensate her with something better in the future.
