Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram has announced her return to the stage after previously suspending all her artistic commitments. She surprised her fans by resuming her world tour and returning to her previously scheduled engagements.
On her official X account, Nancy wrote, “After a period of silence and reflection, and with a deep sense of responsibility, I announce the resumption of my previously scheduled commitments and the continuation of the world tour that was planned months ago.”
She added, “This decision does not stem from a detachment from our bitter reality, but rather from a firm belief that Lebanon must remain present, heard, and seen. I also rely on the unwavering love and support of my fans around the world who have waited patiently and loyally, and who booked their tickets from the moment the concerts were announced.”
She continued, “To avoid causing further financial and emotional losses to the promoters, I am returning to the stage, hoping that my voice will be a bridge towards unity, reconciliation, and peace. I also hope that the coming days will bring more light, safety, and peace to everyone. I love you.”
Lebanese singer Nancy Ajram is scheduled to begin her world tour next May, starting in the United States with performances in Chicago, California, and Detroit.
She will then travel to Paris to perform at the prestigious Olympia Theatre, followed by another concert at the Palais des Congrès, as part of her European tour.
Nancy will conclude her tour in Australia with two concerts: one at the Melbourne Arena and the other at the Sydney Convention Centre, much to the anticipation of her fans there.
Ajram had previously postponed some of her artistic projects due to the current situation in Lebanon, stating that her return to the music scene would depend on the stabilization of the overall situation in the country.
