Amid these unconfirmed reports, the Musicians Syndicate revealed that the artist’s health has deteriorated significantly, as he is suffering from a severe illness that has garnered widespread attention from the artistic community.
Mostafa El-Qasabi, the syndicate’s media advisor, confirmed that the rumors circulating about the artist’s death are false, emphasizing the importance of verifying information and not being swayed by rumors.
A large number of artists expressed their support and prayers for his speedy recovery, affirming his esteemed position in their hearts and in the history of Arabic music, and wishing him a swift recovery from this health crisis.
The artist Angham posted a picture of herself with him on her Instagram account, commenting: “O God, by Your name, the Healer, heal my beloved and mentor… O God, the Most Gracious, have mercy on him.”
Singer Amal Maher also commented with heartfelt words: “I ask God Almighty, Lord of the Glorious Throne, to heal our great teacher, Hani Shaker,” along with a photo of them together.
Singer Helmy Abdel Baqi asked the public to pray for him, writing on Facebook: “O God, by the honor of our Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, grant him health and well-being… Please pray for him.”
Singer Mustafa Kamel expressed his concern during a television interview, saying, “I hope the great artist overcomes his crisis. I am going through a difficult time because of his illness.”
Nadia Mustafa wrote, “My dear brother, the great artist… I pray for you from the bottom of my heart, along with millions of your fans. May God heal you, grant you recovery, and bring you back to us safe and sound, O Lord. Hani Shaker recently suffered a severe health crisis due to a colon hemorrhage, requiring urgent surgery. He underwent a total colectomy and was subsequently transferred to France for further treatment and rehabilitation. His condition improved somewhat, but he then experienced a respiratory relapse that necessitated his readmission to intensive care.
Hani Shaker is considered one of the most prominent singers in the Arab world, having presented numerous successful works throughout his career that have solidified his place in the hearts of his audience.
