gyptAir has expressed its displeasure at the inappropriate use of its cabin crew image in a recently circulated artwork.
While the company did not officially disclose the title of the work, interpretations have linked the statement to a scene featuring actress Asmaa Galal and actor Amr Youssef in the film “El-Selm Wel-Te’ban 2” (The Ladder and the Snake 2), which was recently released on digital platforms after its theatrical release several months ago.
In a statement issued today, Monday, the company clarified that it reserves the full right to take legal action against any scenes that defame its image or harm its reputation. It emphasized its categorical rejection of any offense to its moral standing or any attempt to diminish its public image under the guise of artistic creativity.

EgyptAir stressed its commitment to protecting the moral and intellectual property rights of its employees and its rejection of any intentional or unintentional distortion of its crew image. The company noted that the official uniform of its cabin crew and its brand logo were used in the artwork without prior approval from the relevant authorities.
For his part, Pilot Ahmed Adel, Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company, affirmed that the flight crew represents a positive image of Egypt to the world, noting that the company is proud of its pilots and cabin crew, who possess the highest levels of professionalism and excellence, in addition to their dedication and loyalty to their national carrier.
In closing, the company emphasized its appreciation for artistic freedom, but cautioned against the dangers of using dramatic content to convey messages that could tarnish the image of pilots and cabin crew in Egypt or diminish their professional standing.
