Actor Ashraf Abdel Baqi unveiled the official poster for the play “The Evil Coast,” the debut production of the “Soxie” troupe at the Porto Marina Theatre, scheduled to premiere soon.
The poster features the cast, including Ashraf Abdel Baqi himself, alongside Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Caroline Azmy, Karim Afifi, and Abram Samir.
Abdel Baqi had previously announced the return of the “Soxie” troupe to the Porto Marina stage as part of a summer season featuring a diverse array of artistic and entertainment performances.
He shared a video on his official Instagram account showcasing the stage preparations for the upcoming season.
Abdel Baqi captioned the video: “The theatre is back on the coast! Stay tuned for ‘Soxie’ at the Porto Marina Theatre soon, with an exceptional season combining theatrical performances, concerts, stand-up comedy, and puppet shows. We’ll be announcing all the details and dates very soon, so get ready!”
The play “The Evil Coast” unfolds within a comedic framework, exploring a number of social paradoxes related to life on the North Coast. It stars Ashraf Abdel Baqi, Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Caroline Azmy, Karim Afifi, and Abram Samir, and is written by Karim Sami and Ahmed Abdel Wahab, and directed by Ashraf Abdel Baqi.
