US President Donald Trump believes Jake Paul has a promising future in politics.
During a rally in Kentucky, the president praised the YouTuber-turned-boxer and entrepreneur, predicting continued success for him in his future endeavors.
Behind the scenes at a packaging plant in Hebron, in the northern part of the state, the pair shared a short dance routine that quickly went viral on social media. A video shows Paul and Trump performing synchronized and playful dance moves before shaking hands at the end.
Paul’s company, Most Valuable Promotions, posted the video online with the caption: “Jake Paul and President Trump may have just crashed the internet with this clip… God bless America.” The video was also captioned: “Jake Paul and President Trump performing the most viral dance ever.”
Mutual praise on the stage
Paul seized the moment in the spotlight to thank Trump (79), taking to the stage to address thousands, saying, “What I’ve learned from Mr. Trump is courage. We never back down from a fight, even if the opponent is much bigger than us.”
Paul added, “I know God is with us and wants us to be on the right side of history. We all have to play our part; God is watching over us, and Trump is watching over us.”
For his part, Trump responded by praising Paul’s character, saying, “He’s a great, brave, and talented man, and a fierce fighter, by the way.”
Trump concluded his remarks with a controversial prediction: “I’ll make a prediction: you will run for political office in the not-too-distant future, and then you will have my full and unconditional support.”
