Turki Al-Sheikh, Chairman of the General Entertainment Authority in Saudi Arabia, announced the massive budget for the first six episodes of the series “Al-Amir” starring Ahmed Ezz, which reached approximately 1.1 billion Egyptian pounds. This reflects the significant production scale the project has enjoyed since its inception.
Al-Sheikh revealed that the cost of the six episodes is equivalent to about $21 million, averaging $3.3 million per episode. He emphasized that the series is one of the largest drama productions in the Middle East currently, in terms of the resources and technologies used in filming and production.

Turki wrote on his official Facebook page, “The production cost of the six episodes of ‘Al-Amir’ is 1.1 billion Egyptian pounds (1.1 million USD), $21 million, at a rate of $3.3 million per episode. It is the largest series production in the Middle East this year.”
The series “The Prince” is an idea by Advisor Turki Al-Sheikh, written by Salah Al-Juhaini, and directed by the international director Stephen Hopkins. It includes a selection of stars from Egypt and the world, headed by the artist Ahmed Ezz, Amina Khalil, and the Turkish star Tuba Büyüküstün. It relies on a huge production aimed at presenting a dramatic experience that rivals international works in terms of quality, excitement, and visual techniques.
