Actress Yasmine Sabri is currently experiencing a surge in her film career, as she continues filming her new movie “Naseeb” (Destiny), which she began working on before Ramadan. Production is underway in preparation for its upcoming release.
This film marks her first collaboration with director Khaled Amin and represents a significant step in her career, as it’s her first leading role in a feature film.
She co-stars with Syrian actor Moatasem Al-Nahar, along with a host of other stars including Khaled Sarhan, Rahma Ahmed, Donia Maher, Tarek El-Ebiary, and Ahmed Fahim.
“Naseeb” is a working title and is expected to be changed later. The film is slated for release in the summer of 2026.
Meanwhile, Yasmine Sabri is also preparing to reunite with star Karim Abdel Aziz for the film “Matloub A’iliya” (Wanted: A Family Matter), which is currently in production. The film also stars Mostafa Khater and is written by Sherif El-Leithy and directed by Moataz El-Touny.
This collaboration comes after Yasmine Sabri’s success in the film “Project X,” which reunited her with Karim Abdel Aziz and also starred Eyad Nassar, Ahmed Ghazi, Maged El Kedwany, Hana El Zahed, Karim Mahmoud Abdel Aziz, and Amir Karara. Written and directed by Peter Mimi, the film garnered significant audience attention during its release last Eid al-Adha season.
Through these projects, Yasmine Sabri aims to diversify her artistic choices and strengthen her cinematic presence, particularly by collaborating with prominent stars and filmmakers, reflecting a new phase of maturity and development in her career.
