Activision is gearing up to release a massive update next week for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 and Warzone. This “Season 3 Mid-Up” is packed with surprises, most notably the highly anticipated collaboration with the popular film RoboCop, along with entirely new maps and weapons.
The biggest surprise of this update is the RoboCop event, where players will be able to acquire items and skins inspired by the film. The update also adds new weapons to the player’s arsenal, including the Siren, the Japanese katana for melee combat enthusiasts, and technical attachments to upgrade machine guns and pistols, making them more accurate and powerful.
Multiplayer fans will also get the new Onsen map, a small-scale map set within a Japanese hot spring resort. Beloved classic maps like Hacienda and Summit are also returning in enhanced versions. The update doesn’t stop there; it also includes fun and unique game modes like Freeze Tag, where you must freeze your opponents in place to score points.
The popular Free Run mode, which relies on speed and obstacle-jumping (parkour), returns on the Ascent map, with special rewards for those who complete the course in record time. Zombie fans can look forward to Totenreich, a World War II hunting lodge now inhabited by robots. The main mission will be available starting April 30th, featuring a new, mysterious weapon called the Jotunn Star, resembling a lantern that eliminates enemies with sweeping attacks.
