With the start of Ramadan each year, the competition isn’t limited to television series and programs; it extends strongly to social media platforms, especially YouTube. Content creators enter a fierce race for viewership and trending topics, striving to attract the largest possible audience during the holy month.
Ramadan 2026 witnessed a surge in YouTuber content, particularly with the diversity of ideas ranging from pranks and daily videos to street programs, alongside critical content that accompanies the airing of series. This created intense competition among content creators. A number of them managed to dominate the scene and achieve high viewership ratings thanks to providing fast-paced, light, and fresh content that aligns with the nature of Ramadan audiences, who tend to prefer short, entertaining videos after Iftar (the breaking of the fast).
