Content creator and actor Emad Atef expressed his delight at meeting singer Sherine during her recent concert, after she surprised him by joining him on stage and speaking to him in front of the audience.
During a phone interview on the program “Today Here in Cairo,” hosted by journalist Mohamed El-Desouky on Modern MTI channel, Emad explained that he hadn’t expected her to recognize him or follow his social media content.
He emphasized that Sherine holds a special place in his heart, explaining, “I love art in general, and Sherine is a big and important part of it for me. Anyone would be like me, or even more so.”
He added that he hadn’t anticipated Sherine noticing him among the thousands of attendees at the concert, saying, “Sherine didn’t know I was at the concert. I’d never seen her before, and she never liked my posts. I knew she didn’t have TikTok, so I make videos in advance and only talk to my followers. Then, in two days, everything changed. She saw me in the middle of 40,000 people.”
Emad Atef spoke about the details of the moment when Sherine surprised him on stage, explaining that he did not comprehend her words due to the shock, saying: “Because of the shock, I didn’t hear the phrase ‘I love TikTok because of you’ until after I saw the videos. I only heard ‘Shosho’s sweetheart,’ I heard it after I saw the videos. I wasn’t even in my right mind at the time.”
