He wasn’t just another YouTuber; Sameh Sand became a household name in the world of true storytelling and crime fiction in the Arab world. With his composed style and exceptional ability to analyze the human psyche, he transformed dry criminal investigation files into compelling human dramas that captivated millions, achieving a difficult balance between suspense and a moral message.

Sand graduated from the Faculty of Arts, Department of Media (Journalism Division), and honed his talent by studying film directing. He boasts over 25 years of experience in media, having worked as a documentary filmmaker and as a director of digital content production and marketing at major agencies such as Media Line.

In a remarkable career move in 2018, at the age of 40, he resigned from his prestigious position to dedicate himself to independent content creation, officially launching his journey with the public in 2020.

Sameh Sand has built a solid and loyal fan base, as evidenced by his impressive subscriber count:

Subscribers: Over 2.14 million on YouTube

Views: The channel has surpassed 580 million views.

Content: A vast library of over 1,000 videos, with dedicated sub-channels featuring “compilation episodes” to satisfy viewers who enjoy longer episodes.

Audience Engagement: Establishing a consistent viewing schedule (Sundays and Wednesdays) with his audience, making his program a regular part of their weekly routine.

Programming Map: “The Full Story” and Beyond

“The Full Story”: The cornerstone of his success, relying on forensic and criminal laboratory files to present high-profile cases (such as the Rawd al-Faraj serial killer and Raya and Sakina).

“As Never Told Before”: A new expansion encompassing intelligence, political, and influential historical figures.

Television Presence: His success has moved from the small screen (mobile) to the big screen with the program “Investigating Sameh Sand,” which aired during Ramadan.

Dramatic and Literary Breakthrough
Sanad’s ambitions didn’t stop at audio narration; they extended to include:

Television Drama: He is preparing to release the series “The Dream” in Ramadan 2027 (which he wrote and directed), a work inspired by true stories. He is also collaborating with producer Magdy El Hawary on the series “The Full Story,” which dramatizes the most prominent cases featured in his program.

Literary Activity: He cemented his success in writing with the publication of his first book, “The Strangest Tales,” in 2024, which was very popular among fans of mystery stories.

The Secret Formula… Why Sameh Sanad?

Sameh Sanad’s strength lies in several key points:

A Calm Style: He avoids shouting and exaggeration, relying on a soothing voice that instills confidence in the listener.

Psychological Analysis: He doesn’t simply narrate the crime; he delves into the social and psychological motivations of the perpetrators.

Credibility: His reliance on real-life stories and his famous catchphrases like “It’s hard to predict the ending” have made him a trusted source of both information and entertainment.

Ethical Purpose: He consistently ends his episodes with cautionary or moral messages, elevating the content from mere “crime stories” to “social lessons.”
