Actor Amr Saad sparked controversy after announcing his participation in the 2027 Ramadan drama season with a new series, a move many considered a reversal of his previous decision to retire from television drama.
Saad revealed that he has officially signed with producer Tamer Morsi to present his latest work, scheduled to air during Ramadan 2027, without disclosing further details about the project.
Last Ramadan, during the airing of his series “Efrag,” Saad had announced that it would be his final drama, confirming his intention to retire from television series, a statement that generated considerable reaction from his fans.
“Efrag” was a popular social drama that addressed a range of issues related to everyday life in society. The series starred Tara Emad, Hatem Salah, Sama Ibrahim, Alaa Morsi, Ahmed Abdel Hamid, Safwat, and Sarah Baraka.
