Artist Ahmed Saad confirmed that his absence from the 2026 Ramadan season, both in terms of singing theme songs and participating in advertising campaigns, was due to his busy schedule preparing a new artistic surprise for his fans.
Saad’s statements came in response to questions from his fans about the reason for his absence, especially after his notable activity in Ramadan 2025, during which he participated in more than nine advertising campaigns and dramatic musical works.
During a press conference following his concert in Abu Dhabi, Saad revealed that he plans to release five albums this year, which required him to focus and temporarily step away from Ramadan projects. He explained that while an artist’s participation in advertisements or theme songs is important, the benefits accrue more to the producer than to the artist.
He added that he made the difficult decision to forgo several financial opportunities during Ramadan, emphasizing that he sacrificed significant sums he could have earned from advertisements and theme songs. He stated that he preferred to focus on his new artistic project, despite his sadness at being absent from his audience this season.
Ahmed Saad discussed the details of the albums he is currently working on, explaining that they vary in style. One album, which he calls “The Sad Album,” includes five dramatic songs, while his “Fun Album” features a collection of upbeat tracks. He is also working on a summer album with dance rhythms, an album of classic Arabic songs inspired by classical music, and finally, an album with orchestral arrangements.
