Rising artist Nada Nader released a new EP titled “Cold Fire” today, Wednesday, across various listening platforms, in a new step in her artistic career.
The work includes five songs, namely “Al-Mafroud”, “Dousha”, “Bikallimni Bleil”, “Mesh Hayeeshha”, “Mashi”, and presents a musical experience that blends the “Drill” style, known for its fast and heavy rhythms, with a calmer and bolder atmosphere at the same time, which is known as the “Sexy Drill” style, which relies on delivering energy, confidence, and a strong presence, especially in songs that suit nighttime atmospheres.
The EP features collaborations with a number of artists from different countries, including HYPER, Hala Sharif, and Ayman Haqqi, along with Young Giza, each adding their own unique touch, giving the project diversity without losing its core identity.
On the production level, Nada Nader collaborated with a number of producers, namely IsitSeif, Cymona and Omar Gangster, who relied on deep and powerful rhythms that form the sonic basis of the work, while maintaining a balance between intensity and appeal.
The project was not limited to the musical aspect only, but also includes a music video with a cinematic style, directed by Amr Fayek and Lamba, in an attempt to present an integrated visual experience that reflects the atmosphere of the work.
For her part, Nada Nader explained that the project revolves around the idea of self-confidence and energy, noting that she sought to present a work that resembles a “dark and bold night film,” which reflects her artistic vision at this stage.
“Cold Fire” marks the beginning of a new phase in her career, relying on bolder musical choices and a striking visual identity, in parallel with regional collaborations that reflect the evolution of the hip-hop scene in the region.
