The Mawazine Festival management announced that superstar Tamer Hosny has been chosen to headline the closing ceremony of its 21st edition, in one of the festival’s biggest shows, eagerly anticipated by Moroccan and Arab audiences.
Tamer Hosny is scheduled to perform for his fans on June 27th at the Nahda stage in the Moroccan capital, Rabat, bringing the current edition of the festival to a close. The festival, which began on June 19th and runs for nine days, features a lineup of some of the brightest Arab and international stars. This year’s festival opened with a performance by French rapper Nino.
The festival’s official Instagram page posted the concert’s promotional poster, describing Tamer Hosny as an “exceptional Arab star” in both singing and acting, and unique in the adoration he enjoys from his fans. The organizers confirmed that the closing concert will be the “biggest” this year, given Tamer’s charisma, stage presence, and legendary interaction with the hundreds of thousands of attendees annually.
