New and reliable leaks have revealed the major title joining the PlayStation Plus library this April, suggesting that Souls-like gamers are in for a treat with a free and exciting addition.
Leak from the usual source
As usual, the well-known leaker billbil-kun from Dealabs has published details of the upcoming addition ahead of Sony’s official announcement. While only one title has been revealed so far, it’s considered a major coup for subscribers: Lords of the Fallen (2023 Edition).
Availability and platforms details
According to the leaks, the game will be available for all subscription tiers (Essential, Extra, and Premium) between April 7 and May 5, 2026. This move comes at a strategic time for publisher CI Games, as the addition follows shortly after the release of the massive 2.5 update last December.
The game serves as a buzzword for the audience ahead of the highly anticipated sequel, Lords of the Fallen 2, later this year, which promises a more intense and advanced experience.
What did the critics say about the game?
Upon release, the game received positive reviews, with IGN awarding it an 8/10. They praised the concept of “parallel worlds,” which allows players to switch between two versions of the world to solve puzzles and defeat enemies, describing it as “a creative touch that sets it apart from other Souls games.” Despite some technical issues at launch, the level design and character development made it one of the most prominent games of its genre in recent years.
Awaiting the official announcement
Sony is expected to officially announce the full list of additions to the “Games Catalog” next Wednesday, March 31. We will provide you with all the details as soon as the official statement is released by PlayStation.
