Capcom has officially announced the launch of Leon Must Die Forever, a free minigame available for Resident Evil Requiem.

This update enhances the experience of the game, which was released on February 27th for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Switch 2, and PC.

The new minigame unlocks for players after completing the main campaign, taking them back to familiar areas they visited during the campaign, but with significantly increased challenges. Players will have to face waves of zombies and more powerful and faster monsters in a frantic race against time.

The company stated, “Fight your way through previous game areas and defeat the final boss, all with stronger enemy variants and five progressively harder difficulty levels.” This mode also features a “Boost Meter” that is filled with defeating enemies, allowing the player “Leon” to use boost abilities exclusive to this mode, noting that the arrangement of areas and available abilities changes every time you play, making each experience unique.
