Hisense has unveiled its new G7 Pro gaming monitor, targeting professional gamers and content creators. The monitor boasts a range of advanced specifications focused on high performance and a flexible user experience.
The 27-inch Fast IPS display features two distinct modes that allow users to switch between different settings depending on their needs. It can be set to 4K resolution with a 180Hz refresh rate for superior image quality and sharp details, or switched to Full HD resolution with a 360Hz refresh rate for a faster and smoother experience in competitive gaming.
The monitor utilizes a Mini LED backlighting system with 1152 local dimming zones, providing powerful contrast enhancement and deeper color reproduction. With a brightness of up to 2000 nits, it is suitable for use in various lighting conditions and has received high-level HDR certification.
Hisense has equipped the monitor with an anti-reflective technology called “Obsidian Screen,” which reduces light reflection to just 1.8%, helping to maintain image clarity and color depth even in bright environments.
In terms of color performance, the monitor utilizes Quantum Dot technology, supporting 10-bit color depth and covering up to 99% of the DCI-P3, sRGB, and Adobe RGB color gamuts, making it suitable for professional video editing and design work.
For gaming, the monitor offers a fast 1ms response time, along with support for AMD FreeSync Premium technology to minimize screen tearing. It also includes dedicated gaming tools such as an aiming indicator, enhanced dark scenes, and in-game timers.
The monitor features a wide range of modern ports, including HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4, as well as a USB-C port with up to 90W charging capacity. It also boasts a fully adjustable stand and wall-mounting support.
The monitor is currently available for pre-order at a price of approximately $396, with the official price to rise later, given the continued strong competition in the high-performance gaming monitor market.
